Bio-impedance measurement
The most accurate way to analyse how you are really put together! Percentages of fat, muscle, bone and fluids inside and outside your cells.
Ultrasound
We are happy to check your legs for varicose veins and your abdomen for hernias. This is important as preparation for surgery and as a diagnostic test to rule out the possibility of hernias.
Sonography
It is a widespread misconception that lipedema tissue can be seen in sonography or ultrasound. Rather, it is used to measure your fat layers on defined areas of the body for the before/after, comparison.
Flat knitting measurement
Your most important companion during your journey with us: your custom-made flat-knit fitting. You can have yourself measured directly in our clinic. By our specialist Andrea Volkmann. Because everything has to fit!
Lymphatic drainage
A manual lymphatic drainage specially developed for lipedema provides relief already on the day of the operation by our physiotherapist Naser. The former Charité expert defines MLD + physiotherapy for lipedema and sets completely new standards!
Nutritional counselling
We know what is scientifically proven. Diets do not work! You will have to create your individual diet plan. Wholesome, anti-inflammatory and calorie-adapted. Our expert Nadine Guzy will help you with this!
Blood collection
For every lipedema operation we need your standard blood values two weeks in advance. You are welcome to come to our clinic for this at no extra cost. Your blood values show us whether we are optimally prepared for the upcoming operation.
International Package
Airport transfer service and hotel right next to the med-plast clinic! We offer our international patients special service, because foreign language and culture are already enough hurdles when it comes to the operation!
